CCCR is proud to be selling one of the most original Aston Martins on sale today With no restoration having been performed to its body interior or mechanics!
Barn finds can emerge from all kinds of scenarios and are usually well hidden. This one is no exception, this extraordinary vehicle was prematurely put into storage after only twelve years into its life where it was laid to rest for over 40 + years until now having been discovered in a garage in Gloucestershire under a dust sheet. Its only modification in its life was a respray to Harold Radford blue from Moonbeam grey.
The doors still open and shut beautifully and, inside, the black leather seats appear as if they need nothing more extensive than cleaning and feeding. The car is fitted with the more desirable three litre Bentley designed engine which is the reason to why the car was taken off the road due to head gasket failure, easily rectifiable or you may desire to remove the engine for a full rebuild.
The full story of this amazing car was featured in "Classic and Sport Car" November 2014.
The amazing thing about this vehicle is there is virtually no corrosion any where, if you desired a simple engine rebuild and refresh of the rest of the mechanicals and you could be using one of the most original Aston Martins on the road.
